Not much to say about this game apart from the girls were beaten before they started, with them seemingly worried about the quality that Chesham have. The opening game of the season was at home on a wet Saturday morning, and having gone conceded in the opening minute the score finished 12-1. Highlights of the game was a brilliant solo run from deep in her own half from Talia to fire into the top corner and a brave performance from the injured keeper Demi keeping the score down to 12! The problem with the game, apart from the weather, was that the team did not really play as a unit with too many players getting out of position, too many half-hearted uncommitted passes giving away possession and of course the view from the coach who said that they ignored everything learnt from training. If only they believed in themselves because this Aylesbury side have the quality to match Chesham on any other day. Fair to say that it was one to forget about. Talia was nominated the oppositions player of the match for Aylesbury.
