Aylesbury United Ladies went into their home league game against Banbury United, the league leaders, knowing it would be a difficult game and it turned out to be that way. Although they battled hard, Aylesbury struggled against the good passing and lively opposition and gave away three goals in each half to lose 6-0. Gemma Warner played her first game in goal and was voted player-of-the-match. Even though it was a defeat Aylesbury should keep their heads up and move on to next week's game with confidence. One good thing about the game was that they saw a fantastic performance from the referee, the best of the season ?
