Plain Sailing

After a good home win last week the Greens looked to cement their position at top of the league with a strong performance away to Leighton - who were in Div 1 last season.
Emmie Ramsell returned to the team and had a good game, linking up well with Chloe T and Chenea to create a lot of problems for the Leighton team to solve.
Chloe T, Paige and JoJo put Aylesbury comfortably ahead at the break - although Leighton did have opportunities, with Meredith making important stops through out the half.
In the second half Emie scored her first before Leighton got one back from a deflection in the box from a corner.
Aylesbury responded well and Chloe T scored a lovely 2nd of the game, with a strong drive into the box and a cool finish, to take the game beyond Leighton with 15mins to go.
Leighton scored a late consolation in the final period with a breakaway effort - but Emie scored her 2nd near the end with a very well-worked move down the right-hand side with Maisie, who provided a super cross right into Emies path.
So 6-2 and onto the next game in 2 weeks time.
