Match Report
By Chenea-Rose Chirambaguwa
On Saturday 7th September Aylesbury United Girls U13 played against Woburn.
The game started off slow but gradually became more alive, with the opening minutes of play being controlled by Woburn who were proving to be a strong opponent. However, as the game went on Aylesbury managed to break down their defence through great team play and our first goal was scored by Grace.
With our heads held high we continued the game one goal but Worburn managed to breaks down our defence and scored a goal. Aylesbury started to loose the play and in the second half we were 3-1 down but Aylesbury didn’t give up. Sadly, Aylesbury lost 4-1
Evie got Player of the Match.
‐-----------------------------------------
The girls can count themselves unlucky to not get anything out of the game. We played well as a team but had the luck go against us and were not as efficient infront of goal as our opponents. Play like this for the rest of the season and we will win more games than we lose
