Rob is planning on continuing in this role. However, this does not stop anyone else from putting themselves forward for the role. If more than 1 person is interested, and we are not able to split the role between them, then we will have a vote at the AGM and the person with the most votes will take on the role.

Role Purpose

• Ensure that the club make provision for goalkeeper development, either through specialist in-house training or through a partner
• Assist coaches with incorporating goalkeeper development into their normal training drills
• Increased quality and quantity of goalkeeper development opportunities

What sort of tasks are involved?

• Either organising and developing specialist goalkeeper training, or working with an external partner to ensure this happens
• Sharing training drills with other coaches within the club that incorporates goalkeeper development

How much time will I have to give to the role?
Approx. 1 hour per week

Certifications Required
FA Level 1 in Coaching Goalkeepers
