2. The Eatwell Guide - Introduction


Most of you have probably heard about the Eatwell Guide.

This guide provides us with the proportion of each type of food group which we should consume each day, in order to achieve a healthy, balanced diet. Additionally, it provides us with information about our total calorie intake for men and women, as well as recommendations for fluid.

The Eatwell Guide is very important to follow, because it ensures that we aren't missing out on any important food groups, so that we can maintain good health.
